New Ships - Part 2

Ok, so here's second of my latest ships.

Here we can see a Rebel fleet making an assault run on an Imperial Tector-class Star Destroyer.

New Ships - Part 1

I finished a bunch of ships a while ago, but have been so busy that I couldn't find the time to post pictures.  Here they are (finally).

The Arc Hammer, a Turbulent-class Star Destroyer Mark II, and a TIE Aggressor. 

Star Trek: Fleet Captains - First Game

So, I received Star Trek: Fleet Captains for my anniversary, a few months ago, but having actually got a chance to play a full game until now.  Some pictures to follow.

Simply put, ST:FC is a game for 2-4 players with two factions (at least for now), the Klingons and the Federation.  You overturn randomized location tiles as your ships explore them, possibly triggering encounters.  Encounters can be beneficial, harmful, or even bring you closer to victory on occasion.

Battle Rep. from 9/10/12

So, last week or so, I got a chance to play Star Wars Full Thrust again, and remembered to take notes.  So, enjoy!

Initial Set-up

Round 1.  Imperial forces eager for battle move up on the Rebel position surprisingly quickly.

New Ships, 9-10-12

Well, so I finally got around to taking pictures of my latest batch of new ships.  Enjoy.

Here we can see a Rebel CC-7700/E Interdictor and several T-Wings patrolling the space around a barren moon or small planetoid.

Battle Pics from 8/14/12

I got a chance to play a large-ish three sided game earlier this month and took lots of pictures.  Sadly, there are no detailed notes as to what occurred.

Initial set-up.  The battle was set up as a engagement between the Rebels and the Empire, which was interrupted by a battle group of Separatist droids.  Lost in hyperspace due to a jump miscalculation for 20+ years, the confused droids immediately engaged both enemy fleets.

Newest Ships, 7/30/12

I got a chance this weekend to take some pictures of the stuff I've gotten done lately.  The pictures didn't want to turn out, so we'll all just have to live with my crummy photography skills.

Here we see Plo Koon in his Delta-7, navigating a asteroid field.  The asteroids are lava rock from my yard, just like the ones I usually use in my games, but these were washed to get the dust/sand/grit off, and primed grey.  I wanted a few mounted on stands for effect, but Ill probably still use the unmounted red/brown ones from time to time as well.
