Dark Sun - Quick Plot Hooks: Cistern Fiend vs. Dune Trader

A Merchant of House has been contracted to transport a newly spawned Cistern Fiend to a remote location to guard & purify the local water source.  The party is hired on to provide extra protection for the caravan.

a)     The newly-spawned Cistern Fiend is transported in a giant water barrel on a wagon (hard to disguise).  Slaves are brought along to sacrifice (gutted and bled) into the water barrel as necessary to feed the creature.  It grows increasingly hard to protect the cargo as raiding bands seek to take the water in the barrel.

i)      Maybe the caravan's water supply grows dangerously low and the party is paid extra to keep the other guards from stealing water from the barrel.

Dark Sun - Quick Plot Hooks: Claws & Carrikals

I've decided to start posting quick plot hooks for Dark Sun to keep myself amused.  Enjoy (or not, whatever).

A Belogi and a Mul stand over a kill, both occasionally feinting an attack at the other, each waiting for their rival to give up the life-saving meal they stand over.

New Ships - Clone Wars X-mas, part 2

Continuing my FFG X-wing (1/270) scale ships from Christmas.

Naboo N-1's, from Shapeways.  Once again standing next to the Star Wars Starship Battles mini.  Silver's always really hard to paint right, but I used a can of silver spray paint as the primer, then just did a coat or two with my silver acrylic paint and it came out really smooth.

New Ships - Clone Wars X-mas, part 1

I painted up some Clone Wars era ships for a friend of mine.  He said he loved the FFG minis, but didn't want to play the game; when I heard he loved the designs from the Clone Wars, I had my Christmas gift idea.

Vulture Droids, molded and painted to resemble the Star Wars Starship Battles (by Wizards) Vulture Droid (on the left).

New Ships (2-16-17)

Well, things have finally calmed down after the holidays, so here's some new ships.

Another Rihkxyrk Assault Fighter that I also got from here and a H-Wing.

New Ships (9-23-16)

More new ships!  Let's get to it.

Two more TIEs finished.
